Here's another impossibly rare piece from the early days of Charvel: this is a black and white striped guitar with a single humbucker layout...clearly whoever ordered this was influenced by and wanted to emulate the most famous guitar player in the world at the time! The guitar has a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker with a coil-tap toggle switch wired to a master volume control. The bridge on the guitar is the very first Floyd Rose design - the FRT-1 which was made by Fernandes. The neck is a beautiful piece of oil-finished maple that's dated to August 8th, 1983 and even has Grovers name penciled above the date. It has a fast, flat profile to it with a 42mm nut width, and the original frets still have tons of life and profile to them.

The guitar is still in overall very excellent condition with just light wear around the body, no major dents or dings to it. The tremolo arm is included with the guitar - however it will ship with the arm removed and a 10mm long style T wrench is required to place it back onto the tremolo unit. It's a wonderful collectible from the early days of Charvel, and certainly something that could never be reordered again!
